Purpose
- Enhancing the capacity of trainees and fostering research networks among scientists from APEC member economies through short-term training programs in Korean laboratories.
Program Overview
- The program consists of two components: the Opening and Closing Program, and the Lab Research Program. The former includes lectures on science and technology policy and international collaboration activities, as well as a presentation of training outcomes. The latter aims to provide trainees with practical opportunities for collaborative research with Korean researchers.

Application and Selection Procedure
| Phase | Procedure | Remarks |
| 1st Phase | Kindly ensure that all required forms and supporting documents are properly submitted to the relevant domestic authority in accordance with its prescribed submission process. | |
| 2nd Phase | The Ministry of Science and ICT will evaluate and finalize selections from among the scientists nominated by each economy. | |
| 3rd Phase | Selected scientists will be required to complete the registration process for the training program via the official website. | Website will open on April 10, 2025 (www.sipkorea2025.kr) and the details will be available only to selected participants. |
